HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 2

A JOINT RESOLUTION providing for the confirmation of Theresa B. Stephenson to the Board of Review.

Whereas, the provisions of G.S. 96‑15.3(c) require appointments of the Governor to the Board of Review to be confirmed by the General Assembly by joint resolution; and

Whereas, the Governor has submitted to the General Assembly the name of his appointee to the Board of Review as the member representing the general public; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Theresa B. Stephenson of Wake County to membership on the Board of Review as the member representing the general public for a term beginning July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2023, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 4th day of June, 2019.
