SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 910

A JOINT RESOLUTION confirming the governor's appointment of james c. gillen to the industrial commission.

Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to reappoint James C. Gillen of Henderson County to the North Carolina Industrial Commission; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of James C. Gillen of Henderson County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, to begin July 1, 2024, and expire on June 30, 2030, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
