HOUSE BILL 648

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE $35,000.00 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SPILLWAY GATE AT LAKE WACCAMAW IN COLUMBUS COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Conservation and Development, Division of State Parks, the sum of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000.00) to be utilized by the State Parks Division for the construction of a spillway gate at the dam separating Lake Waccamaw and the Waccamaw River in Columbus County.

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective upon its ratification.
