SENATE BILL 224

AN ACT AUTHORIZING JOHNSTON COUNTY TO LEVY SPECIAL PURPOSE TAXES FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  G.S. 153-9(43) as the same appears in the 1967 Cumulative Supplement to Volume 3C of the General Statutes is amended by adding the word "Johnston" immediately after the word "Hoke" and immediately before the word "Lenoir" in the fifth line of the second paragraph thereof.

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified, this the 7th day of April, 1969.
