HOUSE BILL 373

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE JURISDICTION OF THE LINCOLNTON ABC OFFICER OR OFFICERS TO LINCOLN COUNTY.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Chapter 603 of the 1967 Session Laws, is hereby amended by adding a new Section 5.1 to read as follows:

"Sec. 5.1. The Town of Lincolnton Board of Alcoholic Control may appoint one or more persons to serve as ABC officers. Such officers shall have the same power and authority as granted county ABC officers in G.S 18-45(15) and shall have jurisdiction throughout Lincoln County."

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall become effective upon ratification.
