SENATE BILL 539

AN ACT TO AMEND GENERAL STATUTES 135-27, SUBSECTION (a).

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1.  General Statutes 135-27, Subsection (a) is hereby amended on line six by inserting after the word "colleges" the following: "local professional associations of teachers and State employees as denned by the board of trustees,".

Sec. 2.  All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3.  This Act shall become effective immediately upon ratification.
