SENATE BILL 538

AN ACT TO ALLOW NORTH SURRY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO INCREASE ITS SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. G.S. 115-70 is hereby amended by striking out the word "five" in line six thereof and inserting in lieu thereof the word "seven".

Sec. 2. This Act shall apply only to the North Surry School district.

Sec. 3. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 4. This Act shall become effective upon ratification.
