HOUSE BILL 367

AN ACT to deannex certain parcels previously annexed by a legislative annexation.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The following properties, which were annexed to the City of Roanoke Rapids by S.L. 2005-9, are removed from the corporate limits of the City of Roanoke Rapids, referenced below by Halifax County Tax Office Parcel ID:

SECTION 2.  The City of Roanoke Rapids may exercise all the powers granted by Article 19 of Chapter 160A of the General Statutes in areas removed from the corporate limits by Section 1 of this act.

SECTION 3.  This act is effective June 30, 2011.
