H186 - Cape Fear Water Resources Availability Study (SL 2015-196)

Overview: S.L. 2015-196, as amended by Sec. 86.2 of S.L. 2015-264, (i) directs the Environmental Review Commission, with the assistance of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, to study the availability of surface water and groundwater resources in or affecting the Cape Fear River Basin and (ii) authorizes the Rules Review Commission to retain private counsel under certain circumstances.

This act became effective August 5, 2015.
