H97 - 2015 Appropriations Act, Sec. 12H.8: Requiring LME/MCOs to Make Intergovernmental Transfers (SL 2015-241)

Overview: Sec. 12H.8 of S.L. 2015-241 requires the LME/MCOs to make intergovernmental transfers to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Medical Assistance, in an aggregate amount of $17,236,985 in each year of the 2015-2017 fiscal biennium. The amount of the intergovernmental transfer that an individual LME/MCO is required to make in each fiscal year is $17,236,985 multiplied by the individual LME/MCO's percentage of the total Medicaid cash on hand of all of the LME/MCOs in the State.
