S311 - Register of Deeds/Filing False Marriage Documents (SL 2015-53)

Overview: S.L. 2015-53 adds a new provision to the law governing the duties of registers of deeds in connection with the registration of certain documents purporting to impact official marriage records, to require the register of deeds to mark the first page of the document with a statement that the document is not an official marriage document.

This act became effective June 4, 2015.
