H97 - 2015 Appropriations Act, Sec. 6.18: Clarify the Consultation Requirement Before the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations when a State Agency Establishes or Increases a Fee or Charge (SL 2015-241)

Overview: Sec. 6.18 of S.L. 2015-241 amends the statute that requires State agencies to consult with the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations before a rule establishing or increasing a fee can take effect to provide that where an administrative rule provides for a periodic automatic adjustment to a fee, the agency is not required to consult with the Commission every time the fee automatically adjusts.

This section became effective July 1, 2015.
