H97 - 2015 Appropriations Act, Sec. 7.26: Study State Agency Use of Utility-Based Computing (SL 2015-241)

Overview: Sec. 7.26 of S.L. 2015-241 directs the Department of Information Technology to (i) study the use and potential cost savings associated with State agency use of cloud-based computing services that provide computing, storage, and applications on a metered, pay-per-use basis; and (ii) report its findings to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Information Technology by April 1, 2016.
