S78 - Off-Duty Correctional Officers/Conceal Carry (SL 2015-5)

Overview: S.L. 2015-5 allows State correctional officers to carry a concealed weapon when off-duty. If the concealed weapon is a handgun, the officer must meet departmental firearms training standards.

This act became effective December 1, 2015.
