S770 - North Carolina Farm Act of 2016. (SL 2016-113)

Overview: Sec. 3 of S.L. 2016-113 authorizes employees of the Wildlife Resources Commission and employees of federal agencies whose responsibilities include fisheries and wildlife management, such as the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA-APHIS), to cull feral swine from aircraft with the written permission of the landowner. This activity is prohibited in coastal counties during waterfowl season.
