H1030 - 2016 Appropriations Act. (SL 2016-94)

Overview: Sec. 35.3 of S.L. 2016-94 eliminates the portion of fees allocated to the Mercury Switch Removal Account ($0.50) from fees imposed on certain Division of Motor Vehicle transactions (fees concerning certificate of title, a registration card, or a registration plate for a motor vehicle), and allocates those funds to the North Carolina Highway Trust Fund.

This section became effective July 1, 2016, and applies to fees paid on or after that date.
