H1030 - 2016 Appropriations Act. (SL 2016-94)

Overview: Sec. 12E.1 of S.L. 2016-94 creates a program within the NC AIDS Drug Assistance Program to provide eligible beneficiaries with premium and cost-sharing assistance for private health insurance coverage. The assistance program must comply with federal Health Resources and Services Administration guidelines. The Department of Health and Human Services is directed to report to the House Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services, the Senate Appropriations Committee on Health and Human Services, and the Fiscal Research Division on the operation of this program by March 1, 2017.
