H1030 - 2016 Appropriations Act. (SL 2016-94)
Session Year 2016
Overview: Sec. 12G.2 of S.L. 2016-94 amends the statutes governing the inspection and licensing of adult care homes to require adult care homes with a licensed capacity of 21 beds or more to submit audited reports of actual costs at least every 2 years, instead of annually, to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The reports must be submitted in accordance with specific reporting deadlines established by DHHS for each type of facility. This section also makes a conforming change to provide that the report documentation will be used to adjust the adult care home rate at least every two years. The law continues to exempt from the reporting requirements, those facilities that do not receive State-County Special Assistance or Medicaid personal care.
This section became effective July 1, 2016.
