Overview: Sec. 35.9 of S.L. 2016-94 requires The Department of Transportation, the Department of Public Safety, and the Department of Commerce, in consultation with the North Carolina Trucking Association, to study ways to provide additional off-highway parking to tractor-trailers and semi-trailers.
