H1030 - 2016 Appropriations Act. (SL 2016-94)

Overview: Sec. 35.5 of S.L. 2016-94 increases the amount that a project can be let after advertising from $2.5 million to $5 million. In addition, this section requires the Department of Transportation to report to the House and Senate Transportation Appropriations Committees on the impact to small businesses.

This section became effective July 1, 2016, and applies to bids solicited on or after that date.
