S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Sec. 11E.6 of S.L. 2017-57 amends Part 4 of Article 5 of Chapter 130A of the General Statutes to change the definition of "confirmed lead poisoning" to mean a blood lead concentration of 10 micrograms per deciliter and the definition of "elevated blood lead level" to mean a blood lead concentration of five micrograms per deciliter. Sec. 11E.5 also amends Part 4 of Article 5 of Chapter 130A of the General Statutes to confirm that the lead poisoning statutes apply to pregnant women in addition to children.

This section became effective July 1, 2017.
