Overview: Sec. 11C.2 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Intensive Family Preservation Services Program (IFPS) provide services to children and families in cases of abuse, neglect and dependency where a child is at imminent risk of removal from the home. The IFPS program must be implemented statewide on a regional basis. This section sets out data collection and reporting requirements that the Department of Health and Human Services must require from any program that receives funding for the purpose of IFPS.
