S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Sec. 11A.10 of S.L. 2017-57 (SB 257) requires the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to reduce spending for purchased services and prohibits DHHS from reducing any funding that impacts direct services or any funding that supports the 2012 settlement agreement between the U.S. Department of Justice and the State of North Carolina related to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This section became effective July 1, 2017.
