S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Sec. 11H.14 of S.L. 2017-57 states the General Assembly's intent to provide Medicaid coverage for home visits consistent with the Nurse-Family Partnership model. This section requires the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to develop a plan to implement this coverage and report the plan to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Medicaid and NC Health Choice by November 1, 2017. The report must state whether DHHS intends to add this coverage pursuant to the authority granted under G.S. 108A-54(e) or whether additional appropriations are needed to implement the coverage.

This section became effective July 1, 2017.
