S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Sec. 24.3 of S.L. 2017-57 directs the Legislative Research Commission (LRC) to study fees and charges for services, and transfers of funds from, local government public enterprises, focusing on water and sewer services. The LRC is directed to make an interim report to the 2017 Regular Session of the General Assembly prior to its reconvening in 2018, and a final report to the 2019 Regular Session of the General Assembly.
