S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Section 34.41 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) of the Department of Transportation (DOT) to:

• Make all required forms for unclaimed vehicle sales available on their Web site.
• Allow electronic submission of these forms to DMV.
• Allow electronic signatures on these forms, when electronically signed as required.

This section becomes effective October 1, 2017.
