S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Section 34.29 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Department of Transportation (DOT) to study the use of its new dredge vessel "Manteo." The study must include approximate annual operating costs, including maintenance, and a plan to allow use by other State departments and agencies.

DOT must submit its report to the Joint Legislative Transportation Oversight Committee by December 1, 2017.

This section became effective July 1, 2017.
