S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Section 34.35 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Department of Transportation (DOT) to specify its plan for relocating the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) from its New Bern Avenue location in Raleigh, and whether DOT will purchase or lease the relocation site.

DOT must submit a report to the Joint Legislative Transportation Oversight Committee by May 1, 2018.

This section became effective July 1, 2017.
