S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Section 37.12 of S.L. 2017-57 requires the Department of Information Technology to use a competitive request for proposals to continue the work of the FirstNet program for wireless broadband networking capabilities. The Department must submit a report to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Information Technology and the Fiscal Research Division on the outcome of the process upon its completion.
