S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: Section 16B.7 of S.L. 2017-57 provides that the State Highway Patrol is an eligible public safety answering point (PSAP) for purposes of applying to the 911 Board for a grant from the PSAP Grant and Statewide 911 Projects Account.

This section became effective July 1, 2017 and applies to funds collected on or after that date.
