S582 - Budget & Agency Technical Corrections. (SL 2017-212)

Overview: Section 5.3 of S.L. 2017-212 amends S.L. 2017-57 by updating the statute of limitations for misdemeanor crimes, and amending the Rules of Evidence related to expert testimony in matters of impairment.

The changes to the statute of limitations in this act become effective December 1, 2017, and apply to offenses committed on or after that date. The amendment to the Rules of Evidence in this act became effective October 8, 2017.
