H514 - Permit Municipal Charter School/Certain Towns. (SL 2018-3)

Overview: S.L. 2018-3 authorizes the Towns of Matthews, Mint Hill, Huntersville, and Cornelius to apply to open charter schools and grant priority enrollment to students domiciled in those towns in those charter schools.

This act became effective June 7, 2018, and applies to applications to establish a charter school on or after that date.
