H449 - Handicapped & Special Registration Plates. (SL 2019-213)

Overview: S.L. 2019-213 authorizes the Division of Motor Vehicles to issue a handicapped license plate to a vehicle owner who is the parent or legal guardian of a handicapped person. It also authorizes the Division to produce the following four new special registration plates: "ALS Research", "Keeping The Lights On", "Wrightsville Beach", and "POW/MIA Bring Them Home".

This act becomes effective March 1, 2020.
