H1043 - 2020 COVID-19 Recovery Act. (SL 2020-4)

Overview: Sec. 2.1 of S.L. 2020-4 directs the State Controller to establish the Coronavirus Relief Reserve (Reserve) in the General Fund to maintain federal funds received under the CARES Act to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in North Carolina. The State Controller must transfer funds from the Reserve to the Coronavirus Relief Fund only as needed to meet the appropriations set out in this act and only at the request of the Director of the Budget.
