S105 - 2021 Appropriations Act. (SL 2021-180)

Overview: Section 12.3 of S.L. 2021-180 extends the moratorium on new shellfish cultivation leases and new water column leases for aquaculture for Bogue Sound and the New Hanover County area until July 1, 2026.

This section became effective July 1, 2021, except for the extension of the moratorium for Bogue Sound, which became effective October 1, 2021.
