S105 - 2021 Appropriations Act. (SL 2021-180)

Overview: Section 9G.4 of S.L. 2021-180 provides $500,000 in recurring funds and $1,203,437 in nonrecurring funds for the 2021-2022 fiscal year and $500,000 in recurring funds and $2,479,904 in nonrecurring funds for the 2022-2023 fiscal year to the Division of Public Health, Department of Health and Human Services, for Carolina Pregnancy Care Fellowship (CPCF) be allocated to provide grants for services to pregnancy centers located in this State that apply to the CPCF. Only 10% of the funds can be used for administrative purposes, and CPCF must contact all pregnancy centers that are part of its network and advise them of the availability of the grants. CPCF must report to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services, by July 1 of each year of the 2021-23 fiscal biennium with a list of the grantees and the amounts awarded.
