H103 - 2022 Appropriations Act. (SL 2022-74)

Overview: Section 9E.1 of S.L. 2022-74 amends the Nurse Aide Registry statute (G.S. 131E-255) to clarify that nursing facilities can employ individuals who are not on the Nurse Aide Registry for up to four months, consistent with federal law. The Medical Care Commission is given the authority to adopt rules necessary to implement this section.

This section became effective July 11, 2022.
