H103 - 2022 Appropriations Act. (SL 2022-74)

Overview: Section 9E.2 of S.L. 2022-74 allows the Division of Health Service Regulation to waive rules or increase bed capacity at mental health facilities, adult care homes, hospitals, combination homes, nursing homes, and hospices during a declared emergency or when necessary to conform to federal law. The Division can also waive rules for emergency medical services and nurse aides in the same circumstances.

This section will become effective on the date Executive Order No. 116 is rescinded.
