H103 - 2022 Appropriations Act. (SL 2022-74)

Overview: Section 9G.6 of S.L. 2022-74 creates a new statute (G.S. 130A-158.5) governing access to the North Carolina Immunization Registry. The new G.S. 130A-158.5 directs the Department of Health and Human Services to grant access to client-specific immunization information contained within the North Carolina Immunization Registry to prepaid health plans and to primary care case management entities. These authorized recipients must agree in writing to maintain the confidentiality of the information.
