H103 - 2022 Appropriations Act. (SL 2022-74)

Overview: Section 9I.1 of S.L. 2022-74 increases the income threshold from 130% to 150% of the federal poverty level for individuals age 60 years old and above in order to qualify for annual energy assistance payments. Additionally, the maximum amount paid per household directly to a service provider by the county department of social services under the Crisis Intervention Program increased from a maximum of $600 to $1,000 per household in a fiscal year.

This section became effective July 1, 2022.
