H159 - Education Law Changes. (SL 2022-71)

Overview: Section 1.2 of S.L. 2022-71 prohibits the Division of Child Development and Early Education from requiring an individual working towards an Associate Degree to complete a minimum number of semester hours per year in order to be eligible for employment as an NC Pre-K teacher assistant.

This section became effective July 8, 2022, and expires December 31, 2023.
