H159 - Education Law Changes. (SL 2022-71)

Overview: Section 2.3 of S.L. 2022-71 authorizes charter schools to give enrollment priority to grandchildren of charter school employees and members of the board of directors. This section expands the previous enrollment priority that was limited to children of employees or directors.

This section became effective July 8, 2022, and applies beginning with applications and enrollments for the 2022-2023 school year.
