H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Sec. 12.14(q) of S.L. 2023-134 repeals a statute that required the Environmental Management Commission to establish a fast-track permitting process that allowed for the issuance of stormwater management system permits without a technical review when the permit applicant (i) complies with the Minimum Design Criteria for stormwater management developed by the Department of Environmental Quality and (ii) submits a permit application prepared by a qualified professional.

This section became effective October 1, 2023, and applies to permit applications filed on or after that date.
