H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Section 9G.6 of S.L. 2023-134 appropriates $2 million for the 2023-2024 fiscal year and $2 million for the 2024-2025 fiscal year in nonrecurring funds from the ARPA Temporary Savings Fund to the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services, Department of Health and Human Services, to allocate to UMAR Services, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, to provide services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). At least 50% of the funds are to be used to provide workforce development opportunities and vocation services for adults with IDD.

This section became effective July 1, 2023.
