H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Section 9J.11 of S.L. 2023-134 requires that $3 million in recurring funds for each year of the 2023-2025 fiscal biennium of the funds appropriated by the act to the Division of Social Services, Department of Health and Human Services, be allocated to the Children's Advocacy Centers of North Carolina, Inc. (CACNC). At least 75% of these funds must be distributed to child advocacy centers in the State in good standing with CACNC in accordance with the requirements of G.S. 108A-75.2, as enacted in Section 1(a) of S.L. 2023-96.

This section became effective July 1, 2023.
