H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Section 9E.24 of S.L. 2023-134 requires the Division of Health Benefits, Department of Health and Human Services, to set and adjust Medicaid reimbursement rates for new services provided by licensed ambulatory surgical centers so that these services are reimbursed at ninety-five percent (95%) of the Medicare Ambulatory Surgical Centers fee schedule in effect as of January 1 of each year. The reimbursements required by this section of the act are consistent with the reimbursement requirements already in the State's Medicaid State Plan.

This section became effective July 1, 2023.
