H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Section 16.33 of S.L. 2023-134 adds any judge of the North Carolina Court of Appeals and any justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court to those judges who can carry or possess a concealed handgun in a building housing a court of the General Court of Justice if the judge or justice is in the building to discharge his or her official duties and the judge or justice has a concealed handgun permit.

This section became effective July 1, 2023.
