Overview: Section 5.5 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) redirects investment income from the following funds to strengthen the General Fund:

  • The State Capital and Infrastructure Fund.
  • Needs-Based Public School Capital Fund.
  • Water Infrastructure Fund.
  • Information Technology Fund.
  • School Technology Fund.
  • Hurricane Helene Disaster Recovery Fund.
