Overview: Section 22.1 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) increases the fee assessed against a person filing for absolute divorce from $75.00 to $125.00 and provides that those funds are deposited to the Domestic Violence Center Fund.
This section becomes effective December 1, 2026, and applies to fees assessed on or after that date.
