H56 - 2026 Budget Technical Corrections. (SL 2026-42)

Overview: Section 5.2 of S.L. 2026-42 (House Bill 56) repeals section 17.12 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257). Section 17.12 of S.L. 2026-41 would have required the Department of Adult Correction (DAC) to eliminate positions from non-healthcare-related divisions of DAC that have been vacant for more than one year from July 1, 2026.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
